In Memoriam

It is with deep sadness that we announce that Brigid K. Sheppard, our close friend, valued colleague and Director of Technology, unexpectedly died of heart failure at her home in Bluffton, South Carolina on Sunday, December 1, 2008. Brigid was 36 years old.

Brigid’s passion, enthusiasm, energy and commitment to our company’s efforts to better protect children and seniors – as well as the public at large – were remarkable. Brigid was more than just a very talented member of our team, she was an inspiration.

While the shock of the sudden loss of Brigid will lessen over time, we will never forget Brigid’s spirit, commitment and life.

In honor of Brigid’s passion and efforts, we have established the Brigid Sheppard Memorial Grant program. Brigid was born on January 25, 1972. In celebration of her life, we will award the first grant of a complete Child Project and Senior Safety Net system to a Sheriff’s Office on her birthday – January 25, 2009.
