BI² Technologies Products

BI² Technologies’ primary products are software applications and information technology hardware that enable public and private organizations to use iris biometric identification technologies to quickly and accurately identify a person.

The Child Project, Senior Safety Net and IRIS systems consist of Iridian Technologies Know Who® operating system, Panasonic’s Iris Camera, a personal computer, BI² Technologies’ software application, and required cabling and accessories.

MORIS^TM

MORIS is a handheld biometric device based on the iPhone that can recognize and identify people based on iris, face, or fingerprint. More information is available here.

The CHILD Project^TM

The Child Project is a secure nationwide network and registry, which enables law enforcement and social service agencies throughout the country to positively identify children through iris biometric recognition technology. Implementation of the CHILD Project began in early 2005 and is continuing in Sheriffs’ office across the country. Senior Safety Net^TM

Senior Safety Net is similar to The Child Project. This secure nationwide network and registry enables law enforcement and social service agencies to identify enrolled seniors who may be lost due to Alzheimer’s Disease or dementia. IRIS^TM

The Inmate Identification and Recognition System (IRIS) positively identifies inmates and visitors using the most mathematically unique biometric – the iris.

Sheriff’s Offices and correctional facilities have been utilizing iris biometric recognition technology for essential responsibilities, such as:

• Visitation

SORIS^TM

SORIS^TM is a secure, web-based national system that registers and positively identifies Convicted Sex Offenders using the most mathematically unique biometric - the iris. SORIS^TM registers and positively identifies convicted sex offenders at a local jurisdiction and enables participating law enforcement agencies to positively identify the convicted sex offender at a later time in seconds from anywhere in the nation.
