May 21, 2008 - BI2 Technologies and The Child Project wishes to recognize and thank Sheriff Glenn Ross of the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office for his continued commitment and dedication to helping the children and adults in the State of Maine. Sheriff Ross announced the award distribution of The Child Project system for use by forty-one (41) law enforcement agencies. This award and implementation will enable law enforcement agencies across Maine to identify and locate missing children and adults through the use of Iris Recognition Biometric Technology.
